The family behind the care

The team behind every caregiver

A caregiver never works alone. These are the people in the office you'll hear from, and how each of them supports our caregivers and your family.

Executive Director

Runs the office and answers for the care every family gets. If something isn't right, this is the person who puts it right.

Nursing Supervisor

Writes the care plan, supervises the caregivers who follow it, and updates the plan when your loved one's health or routine changes.

Client Care Coordinator

Your everyday contact, who gets to know your family. Builds the schedule, matches your loved one with the right caregiver and handles the changes when appointments or plans shift.

On-Call Care Coordinator

Covers nights, weekends and holidays, so a call about a missed shift or a sudden change reaches someone who can sort it out.

Human Resources

Looks after the people who look after your family: hiring paperwork, pay, training records and the support that keeps good caregivers with us.

Recruiting Manager

Interviews caregiver applicants and checks their certifications, so the person who comes to your door is someone we'd send to our own parents.

Community Liaison

Keeps in touch with the hospitals, rehab centers, doctors and senior centers nearby, so the people who treat your parent know how to reach us.

Caregivers

The familiar faces in the home, matched to your loved one and trained by us: help with bathing and dressing, meals, medication reminders, errands and an afternoon of good company.

An office in Monroe Township, caregivers across the county

Our Middlesex County office is at 348 Applegarth Road in Monroe Township. From there we arrange care in 29 towns across the county.

The calls come from every direction. A son whose mother still lives in the house he grew up in. A daughter three states away whose father was just discharged from the hospital. A hospital case manager with a patient going home on Friday. Each one starts with the same conversation: what has become hard, what the days look like now, and what would make them easier.

A plan made with you, and a caregiver to follow it

Our founder, Teresa Sajkowski, spent ten years as a home care and hospice nurse before she started the company in 2010, and the way we work still comes from the bedside. A registered nurse visits your parent at home for a free assessment, looks at the stairs, the bathroom and the medication list, and writes the care plan with you. Registered nurses supervise the caregivers who follow it, and the plan changes when your loved one's health or routine does.

Choosing who comes to the door

Every caregiver is our own employee, background-checked, bonded and insured. We interview each one ourselves and check their references before anyone is placed with a family.

Then we match. We think about the care your parent needs and also about the person: a caregiver who likes to cook for a man who misses a home-cooked dinner, a calm, unhurried one for a mother with dementia who startles easily, someone who speaks the language your parent grew up with when we have one. If the match isn't right, tell us and we'll change it quickly, without a gap in care.

Let's talk about care for your family
